PE102 Alarm Annunciator

The PE102 is an alarm annunciator designed for industrial applications. It monitors the status of up to 8/16, 24/48, or 32/64 alarm contacts.

The isolated alarm contacts can be configured as normally open or normally closed. The status of each alarm contact is indicated by a Red LED that flashes when the alarm is triggered, even momentarily, until it is acknowledged, and, for the PE102-8/24/32, also by a Green LED that remains steady while the alarm is untriggered.

The PE102 Alarm Annunciator monitors status and status changes of 8 to 48 isolation alarm contacts. Changes are annunciated by an audible alarm and flashing LEDs. Momentary changes are also detected and latched in until acknowledged.

Instead of alarm contacts, the presence or absence of DC voltages 12, 24 or 48 can also be monitored.

Auxiliary relay contacts that repeat the alarm inputs are provided.

The power input can be 12/24/48/125VDC or 115/220VAC. The alarm contacts can be internally or externally wetted. If the input voltage is 12/24/48VDC, then the contact voltage is the same as the input voltage. If the input voltage is 125VDC or 115/220VAC, then the contact voltage is 12VDC.

If power input is 12Vdc, no power supply is required. Other models require either a DC-DC converter or an AC-DC power supply to convert input power supplied by user to 12Vdc.

The Common Alarm Relay indicates an active alarm. The power fail relay indicates power failure. Both relays are accessible via screw terminals located on the back panel.

The Auxiliary Outputs are isolated relay contacts that can be used to transmit the status of the alarm contacts to auxiliary equipment. They can be accessed via a 50-pin connector located on the back panel.

The PE102 can be mounted in a 19″ or 23″ rack or panel mounted as is, or desktop mounted with additional desk mount legs.
