Substation Remote Terminal Unit – PE 1800

Overview

The PE 1800 RTU is an advanced Substation Remote Terminal Unit that operates as a Stand Alone RTU using its Built-in Display Status LED’s or in conjunction with any Puleo Annunciator. Multiple Serial ports allow the RTU to simultaneous act as Master and Slave devices. As a Master it acts as a Data Concentrator collecting and processing data from Intelligent Electronic
Devices (IED’s) such as Protection Relays and Meters. As a slave it reports the status of the Alarm Inputs / collected IED’s, to your system and responds to your systems Control commands. The RTU supports most Protocols and can be used as a Protocol Converter.

PE 1800 - Rear Panel Layout

Front Panel Maintenance Port Compact 1 RU Chassis has all permanent I/O connections located on rear panel. Convenient Front Panel Access for RTU configuration and maintenance using Puleo PE View and PE Config software. RTU configuration is stored in both SRAM and Flash memory for security. This port can also be used as a 5th Device Port.
